Aaron  Charles Racing was formed in 2006.  Aaron's Dad Mic Charles had previously competed in a bit of racing contesting in the national hotrod championship before Aaron was even born.

 

Aaron grew up with no pressure to have an interest in racing  at all but found himself watching Formula 1 when Michael Schumacher was on form at 7 years of age. A film named 'Kart Racer' really caught Aarons eye, he was very intrigued and with an idea, starting surfing the net.

 

At age 10 Aaron persuaded his dad he wanted a kart, Mic who brought a cheap basic Kart with a 4 stroke Honda engine for £30 soon decided after a few outings his son had found a real interest and enjoyed every second racing around.

 

Mic then purchased a TKM 100cc race Kart where Aaron raced around a car auction when not in use and B+Q car park for some time, It was clear Aaron wanted to take Karting to the next stage where he started racing Non MSA in 2006 at Carver Barracks Kart Circuit. He finished 4th in his first ever championship.

 

Aaron then moved into Minimax halfway through 2007 at age 11 nearly 12, He competed in the last few rounds at kimbolton and fulbeck as a novice where he proved as a front runner always finishing within the top 5 every time out. Aaron also contested in his first ever London Cup hosted at Rye-house circuit first time off novice plates finishing 11th out of 27.

 

Aaron contested all through the rotax classes proving a front runner with alot of silver ware to prove his talent. With a helping hand from Team member Keith Appleyard, NEWKART director Nick Jest, Ash Sutton, Mic Charles and mum Mandy.

 

Aaron after just two years out of the sport, has made a return for 2014 already making his stamp.
